Rotation of object with JavaScript

Explorer ,
Dec 27, 2016 Dec 27, 2016

Hi,

I´m using Captivate 9 and I publish in HTML5.

Lets assume we have some object (lets say a SmartShape) and I want to rotate this object by an angle of 12.5 degrees (yes, for some specific reasons I really need fractional angles ...). I don`t want a "continuous rotation" but I want the object to "jump" to the final position.

Is there some way to get there by JavaScript? (It should be possible to trigger the rotation e.g. by pressing a button.) With the standard motion effects of Captivate I can only trigger rotations with integer angles.

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Best wishes

Michael

Have a look at this:

jQueryRotate - rotate image in browser by any angle

It's definitely possible.
