Hello!
I'm working on a little drag and drop interaction where you drag 4 puzzle pieces (that display an icon on them) and match each one to a drop target with the name of the icon. This is a one:one drag and drop interaction. The only kicker is that I've also got a text box with 4 states. Each state describes the icon on the puzzle. So, the learner has to read the text box and then drag the puzzle piece to its correct name.
In order to achieve this: I set up a sequence drag and drop and then on the drop target's action panel I put "show next puzzle's text"
Sequence:
Text box:
Unwavering integrity's text shows automatically with the entrance of slide, then when Unwavering_Integrity_drag_236 is dropped its Action Changes the state of the text box to show the Commitment to Excellence text.
I'm not using a Submit button, so I have the drags to auto-submit and the interaction pause is set to 1.5 seconds. The puzzle pieces drag and drop to their correct spot, but they don't do it in the Sequence, it's like it's in combination mode or something. The states change correctly with the text box too.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't really understand your question, been rereading it several times. Maybe you misunderstand 'Sequence' option? You can have the D&D validated either based on a combination of drag actions, or on the sequence of those drag actions. Is that what you understood as well?

Yes.So,in order for the learner to see the "question or assessment" text box, they need to drag the draggers to the droppers in the correct order.
The problem is that the puzzle pieces have a vague icon on them and I don't expect the learner to remember what the icon means. So I have the learner drag the puzzle piece with the icon to a drop target with it's corresponding name. The text box has a statement that describes each puzzle piece so the learner knows which piece to drag. So, the assessment really isn't a typical "drag/drop = question/answer". Does that make more sense?

No, sorry, I don't see what you want at all. It is clear that you are asking about features not available in drag&drop.

Bummer! I'm going to redesign the slide.
