Hello,
when exporting a captivate project as HTML5, we have the playbar not included in the skin. When playing back the project, the buttons are spread out across the bottom of the window.
When viewing a swf output the skin buttons show correctly. Again, we don't include the playbar in our skin configuration.
Anyone know why the buttons are spread out on the HTML5 output?
Thank you - Matt

It appears this option is only available for Captivate projects that are NOT a responsive design project. The setting is greyed out for us when we check this in our responsive design project. We are able to adjust this setting for projects that are not responsive design. Is this correct?

That appears to be the case.
I think it would be possible to use the progress bar, but hide it with JavaScript so you can have the layout you want if you are using responsive.

In my opinion, this is still an issue. I've been in contact with Adobe regarding this issue a few times, and it apparently just works this way. It seems like it shouldn't, though. When looking in Skin Editor, if your playbar Position is set to Bottom and the Layout is set as Stretched, the buttons are in the lower-left. When you play the file back in a browser as a SWF, the buttons look as they do in the preview. When you play the file as HTML5 in browser, the buttons are spread out across the bottom as described in the initial post. I would love it if they looked the same in both output formats, or maybe an explanation as to why the two are different. I should say, we do not opt to display the Progress Bar. So, there is a solid bar extending the full length of the slide that is basically empty space.
