Software simulation - screen duplication displays on click

New Here ,

When creating a software simulation within an application, some screens display duplication on the mouse click. This could be the button/s being clicked or an area near the clicked button.Duplicate buttons displaying on capture.png

This seems to have started since upgrading to version 11.8.2.254. Anyone have any advice please?

It is annoyingly buggy, that version. I went back to 11.5.6.

Is this responsive or not? Can you check the background image in the Library? It is a sim, but which mode(s)?

Thank you for the quick reply. I think i've resolved it.

I was copying the simulation slides into a blank template when the duplication occured.

I've always done this with previous Captivate versions but obviously this isn't going to work with 11.8!

Hoping i don't find too many more bugs.

Please log the bugs, I am ashamed because 11.5.5.553 was pretty much bug-free.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you have a look at the bakcground images? You could tranfer those to a new project if they are fine and recreate with thos images.

I've taken a quick look and identified a background which isn't working. It appears that it's been captured with the duplication so won't be able to extract and reuse unfortuntely. Thanks for the tip though.
