Submit button randomly appears during software simulation

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a software simulation project and found that all of a sudden one of the slides has a random submit button on it that can't be seen in edit mode, but shows up when I preview the project. (Except when previewing as HTML5. I don't see it then.) I thought at first it might be an hide item/visible on output problem, but the button isn't anywhere on my timeline so I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

I have just had this same problem! A random submit button appears during one of my slide's.  Not sure what the issue is but here's how I got around it. I opened up a new blank project and copy and pasted the effected slide into the new blank project. Upon doing this the submit button appears on screen (it won't show up in the timeline). Now you should be able to select the button and delete it. There seemed to be 2 copies of the button over the same space so I had to delete 2 items. After I done this I then copied the slide back into the original project and deleted the old slide.

Really hope that helps you, not sure what is causing it be rest assured others are experiencing it

Did you have a Text Entry Box on that slide?

I didn't, but it's possible that I accidentally clicked to add one when I was trying to add a regular text caption.

Just to add that I wasn't doing a software simulation  so it doesn't seem to directly connect to that

AHHHH Thank you so much psyshow! I just tried what you recommended and that totally solved the problem. Just like you, I had 2 items to delete. Still no idea how they got there, but I'm glad I now know how to get rid of them if they ever appear again.  Hope Adobe can fix this issue in a future update if it's a bug.

Thanks again!
