When importing XLIFF format XML that targets text fields with vertical alignments set to either center or bottom, the targeted text fields don't get the vertical position of the text updated to the match the new length/height of the imported text.
In order to get the field to update the vertical position you have to bring the text field into focus in the Captivate UI somehow. Simply changing the vertical alignment to another setting and back to it's original setting will work. Or clicking into the field itself to get the cursor to show in the field will also force an update to the vertical position.
I can't find any mention of this issue on this forum or the web or any books on the tool. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what have you done to work around the issue?
