Text-To-Speech (TTS)

New Here ,

I have Captivate 5 and am attempting to add more voices for TTS. I only had "Microsoft Sam" before.  I downloaded, from the Adobe site, Loquendo and Neo Speech to my desktop and then ran the installer for both.  They both seemed to install correctly.  Now, when I go into Captivate I have choices for Microsoft Sam, Juliette, Simon, Stefan, Kate and Paul.  However, whichever voice/name I select i STILL only get Microsoft Sam.  What do I need to do?

Hi Billy,

Can you try this on a new project and see if it is related to project, or if that doesn't work go to installed location of Captivate 5. There is a folder name VT and Loquendo, just delete them and reinstall the voices.

Please let me know if that helps.

Thanks

Hi Privank,

Thank you for your response.

I opened a blank project and added TTS text to a blank slide and the new voices worked.

However, when I choose the Microsoft Powerpoint option I still only get good ol Sam. I have a presentation and notes completed and just need another voice.

Should I try and delete and re-install or do you have another suggestion or option.

Thank you in advance.
