TimerWidget doesn't appear on Retake button, Captivate 2019

Sorry for inconviences, I didn't report full issue:

I created courses with a quiz in the end.

I created 5 Random questions and Timer Widget was not available for random widgets.

So I decided to create blank slide before quiz with a 0.1 transition where I inlcuded Timer Widget.

If student fail, by clicking retake button, it goes to 1 question and timer widget is not available. please help to solve. thank you.

Suspect you mean the Timer Learning Interactoin (there used to be a 'widget' as well, learning interactions are compatible with HTML5 output, widgets not).

Need more details:

• Which exact version number because there are at least 5 releases under CP2019. Check the number under Help, About Captivate.
• You talk about 'Retake', which means you are talking about a Quiz, and this is the Retake button on the Score slide?
• Where did you insert the Timer interaction? How was it set up?
• What do you want to happen on a second attempt on quiz level with the Timer?

You want to see the Timer interaction (I suppose, not the widget), but does it have to be reset?

Initially, I was not able to add Timer Widget(from Interactions) into Random Question.

Please upgrade ASAP. You are still on the very firsty release of CP2019. There as a bug update released very soon, and you also can have a free update to 11.5.1 which offers lot of new features.

I know that English is not your native language (not mine neither). But please: what do you want for the Timer interaction to happen on a second Quiz attempt? To restart or to continue?

Anyway you will need to extend the Quiz Scope, so that the Retake button gets the learner back to the Timer interaction slide which sits before the first random question slide. That can be done by adding a scored object to a slide before that first quiz slide, with a score of 1pt.  I don't know what your present setup for the total score is (look under Advanced Interaction panel).

Shortly:

Timer should be assigned fro 5 minutes for quiz in the end. Quiz slides were done by Random questions.

In the internet I found tip for Timer Widget(from Interactions) how to add them into random questions.

1-2 Slide: Intoductory

3 Slide: Timer Widget(from Interactions) with Rest of Project. (with a slide duration 0.1 seconds)

4-8 Slides: Question slides(Random Questions)

9 Slide: Result. Here if student fail and click to Retake Quiz button, he will go to 4th slide where there is no Timer Widget(from Interactions).

Is it possible to change font style of timer?

You can change the color of the timer and the background, not change the font nor add an attribute like bold, italic.
