TOC Display Error Captivate 9

New Here ,
Oct 27, 2017 Oct 27, 2017

I have been getting this error when I enable the TOC and preview the project or even publish the project. As soon as I disable the TOC the project runs well. I have tried all the preset TOC formatting options. I have restarted Captivate and my PC countless of times. How do I fix this error? Anyone else ever experience this?

Thank you.

This looks like some kind of conflict with the Skin chosen for this project.  Was this project using a custom skin?  Was it upgraded from an earlier version of Captivate?

Try selecting a different Skin, making sure it is one of the default skins from your current version of Captivate.

Yes that must have been it. I tried a different skin and the TOC and course displayed as it should. I wonder what it was about that skin that caused the issue. Thank you.

This sort of thing normally happens because you have started the project in an older version of Captivate and upgraded it at some point.  It could be that the skin (which is cached within the project) was slightly customised in some way, and is now no longer compatible with the current version of Captivate.

Is that possible in your case?

Hello,

Well it worked for only one project. All projects were from PowerPoint imported slides. For this one file if I enable the TOC with any other skin theme it still produces this error. It must be this one file that is corrupt in some way.
