Trial version publishing

Dear community,

I have a particular question. I used Adobe Captivate Trial to make a couple of quizzes. At this moment our company has the official license but installed it on another computer. I have a specific question about those exported files I made in the trial version: will they still work after the trial version is ended?

It is quite some extra work the re-zip and upload everything. But I want to be sure if the software doesn't terminate itself within a few days. So I hope someone can help to clarify this.

Thank you for your time.

You need to republish with a licensed version of Captivate which should be possible in your situation. Why do you tell 're-zip'? I suppose you create a SCORM course since you talk about a quiz, zipping happens automatically on publishing. Why would you have to do that?

There is a big difference between the PUBLISHED file and the raw cptx-file. You always use the word 'export' instead of publishing. Any reason?

Any output published from a trial version expires after 30 days.

However if there's a licensed install of Captivate somewehere in your company, you can develop your quizzes in your trial version, and then send over the project files to the colleague who operates the licensed Captivate version and have him/ her publish them.

Yes, I created SCORM courses for Moodle, they automatically zip when exporting/publishing. It is my first time I used the software so not sure it always zip the files when you export/published them. Seems I need to re-publish everything. Thank you for your fast reply.
