Trying to uninstall Captivate Assets

I've uninstalled Captivate, but in my 'Apps & Features' settings I have an entry labeled 'Uninstall Adobe Captivate Assets'. However, clicking this gets the message - "Specified product is not installed on this machine. Please quit the installer and start over."

How can I remove this entry?

Can you check if they are installed? You didn't specify which OS you are using. Here is the location of those assets for a Win system:

...\users\Public\Public Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets

You can just delete that folder or the individual subfolders.

I'm on Windows 10. That's the problem, they aren't installed, but my system seems to think that they are. I would imagine that reinstalling then uninstalling might get rid of the entry, but it didn't last time, and it's a huge download.

Does it bother that the system thinks this? You probably would have to use an external application to access the registry to delete that part. Do you get annoying messages?
