Was ist eine "Machine ID"?

In der Antwort von Adobe auf eine Anfrage gemäß Art 15 DSGVO finde ich u.a. Angaben zu einer „Machine ID“.

Was ist das?

Eine Recherche im Netz hat bisher nichts gebracht. Im Adobe-Support-Chat kann man es angeblich nicht beantworten. Auf eine Anfrage bei Adobe per Formmailer habe ich bisher keine Antwort bekommen.

I don't find any other possibiltiy on the adobe-website for my question.

I use Captivate. I asked Adobe, which data they collect about me. In the answer i found beside many other things something about the "Machine ID" connected with a number. And now I want to know, what it is. - In the chat with adobe they said: we don't know. The support, asked bei formmail, didn't give any answer.

That's the reason, why I tried, to get an answere to my question by the community.
