Will Captivate 9 simulations pushed as Executable files work?

Hello--I have several software simulations created in Captivate 9 and published as executable files. Will these executable files work in 2021 when Flash is discontinued for many browsers?  If the files won't work in 2021, what do you suggest for preserving these files if that's possible.

Thank you for any help you can provide

No idea what will happen but EXE is based on Flash technology.

Republish those projjects to HTML5, which was already available in the older CP9 version.

Sorry...another question.  When republished to HTML5, can the files be used outside of an LMS?

HTML5 output needs to be uploaded to a webserver. A LMS is neededwhen you want to report a score, or want the user acounts managed

To answer the question specifically, Yes, the HTML files CAN be used outside of an LMS, but as Lieve said, there will not be any reporting (because SCORM or XAPI connections would not exist)

I guess if you had to have it as an executable file, you could just create a wrapper that booted the index page?

Why not just upload to a webserver, which needs to suppor JSON and send the URL to the learners?
