The marketing team at my client does not like any of the bullet options that Captivate 7 is offering me.
They want a simple small square bullet.
The 'Custom' bullets introduced in C6 are not custom, just an expanded set of options.
Is there a SIMPLE way to make the marketing people happy?

Hi AlanMontague,
Easiest thing I can think of is, use a graphics app (paint even), draw a square box the size you need and import as a graphic.
Place the graphic wherever you need it, timed the same as your text.

Thanks Norm
I saw some earlier (2008) answers to a similar problem that had the same suggestion.
It's just too 'kloodgy' amd prone to error doing it that way.
ah well

🙂 Understood.
Does Wingdings font, letter 'n' work as a solution?

In over ten years of build e-learning I have never found any "simple way to make the marketing people happy". They usually think project management is just a matter of issuing edicts. "I don't like the way that looks. Change it to a smaller square bullet. Job done."
I agree Captivate's formatting options for bullets are extremely limited. But the reality is that the size or shape of a bullet has almost nothing to do with the effectiveness of the learning content. Marketing people think "branding is everything", even if the content is rubbish. Instructional Designers and marketing dudes therefore rarely ever see eye to eye.

I use v5.5 and using ALT+8 (from numeric keypad) you can get a dark square bullet - but it does have a white circle in the middle.

Brilliant...I worked my way from ALT+1 - ALT+50 and gave up as I could not find a solid square bullet.
Is there a table somewhere that lists the ALT+Numeric key results?
