Shadow and Reflection options gone after adding text to shape

Using CP 2019: 11.5.0.476 on Windows 10 Pro

I create a shape on a normal slide --> Shadow and Reflection options are available

I double click the shape and add any text, then step out of text edit and select the shape --> Shadow and Reflection options are NOT available

It seems the only way I can adjust Shadow and Reflection options after adding text is to go into the State View for the shape.

So, I have a workaround, but I've been using CP through many versions and this is a change in behavior, definitely annoying and possibly a bug.
