subscription access to captivate 8

Can anyone tell me how I get access to the newest version of Captivate as a one-year subscriber?  I'm still working on 7, and when I run updates it doesn't offer switching up to 8.  And the adobe customer service chat doesn't work on this site.

Install the trial version, when you log in with your Adobe ID, normally your subscription should be recognized. Do not shoot at me, this is what I learned here on the forum.
