Linking CH Beta to Premier

When I link my recorded puppet to Premier, all of the recordings are available, except for the Body Tracker movements.  Is this feature available via the dynamic link in Premier?  Thanks!!

Correct answer CoSA_DaveS

Use the Beta version of Premiere Pro and it should work. (Dynamic Link only communicates betas to betas, so in your case if you're using the regular version of PPro you're also using the regular version of Ch to render the dynamic link, which doesn't have the Body behavior).

Thanks Dave!

Well, here's my first attempt to use this feature.  I am not an animator, but love using this tool for Instructional Design/eLearning.  I'm currently working on a course that includes dance instruction for kids and this option would be great as I was mostly planning on using live video, with other interactive features.  So, this song, Macarena, probably wasn't the best selection for Hopscotch, but I'll review rigging modes and see what other puppets might work.  I gave up getting the frog to jump.  Ideas?

Great product, btw!!!

Awesome, can't wait to see it. I think my kids will get a kick out of it, so I'd love to send them to the Froggie macarena dance class when you're done.

I'm not 100% sure, but there might be a chance that the entire track is just running a few frames behind as opposed to you needing to do the moves faster. So maybe after you record the moves on the reverse side, if he still seems off beat try sliding the entire Body take track a few frames and see if he's better in time with the music then.

Uhg, I actually made it worse!  I went from a squishy leg jump to almost no jump at all.  Getting a set pose and then running back and forth after hitting record is a bit challenging.  I also tweaked one of the arms in Rig mode and now it kind of 'separates' from the shoulders.  I don't use CH on a regular basis, so I need to spend some time re-watching Dave's tutorial videos.  In the meantime, I found this video that your kids might enjoy.  Actually, I was hoping to mimick some of this animation via CH's new body tracker feature.  Someday!!
