Hello,

Does Character animator have a stock of brackgrounds?  If so, where can I find them and add them to the video?

If not, is there a way to add backgrounds?

Or.. could I record the puppet with a transparent background and then drop him in a video editing sofwatre to add a background and other items to the video?

You can record a puppet with a transparent background I forgot to say - yes, that works too. But its more work if a simple project. There is also "dynamic linking" where you can drag a scene into After Effects for example, and do "clever" things to it. I just do it all in Ch because its fast and easy. So import any image, drag the puppet into the scene, scale it to fit appropriately, put your other "real" puppets in front in the same scene.

There is Adobe Stock (no Character Animator stock). Backgrounds are just very simple puppets. You import artwork files like before, they appear as an icon, but if you import a PNG file there is no puppet structure inside to rig -- which is fine, because all you will do with a background is scale and position it using the Transform behavior. The rest of the behaviors some people just delete.

I am new to "Mixamo", and I can't seem to figure anything out!! I created my character and it's pose, but I can't find the backgrounds! Do you have any idea where I can find them?

You might be in the wrong area. Mixamo is 3D and character animator is 2d - so backgrounds are done differently
