Body tracking resets to default position with no takes recorded on the timeline

I have a character who is sitting, so they dont have any leg tags. He can move from the waist with body tracking but for some reason he moves back to his original position once i move my body in the camera. On the Body behaviour I have "If tracking lost" set to hold in place, but either setting doesnt seem to make a difference.

If i disarm the body behaviour it stops doing this, and I have a face behaviour that drives some of the tilt and doesn't reset its position if I have the face behaviour armed and the body behaviour disarmed, but i do need it to be armed.

I haven't seen this happen before with any sitting puppet ive made before in the same way

Thanks

OK I get it, you have the Strength of the Body behavior reduced to 85% in the screenshot. Please set this to 100%. Otherwise, the puppet will slowly get pulled toward the rest pose.

The puppet you shared with me on DM looks fine as is (the Body behavior's strength is 100%).

Can you share your puppet? Please feel free to DM me if the puppet cannot be made public.

The video captures of what exactly is happening can also help us to understand the issue better.

Thanks for having a look for me! I put the body behaviour strength up to 100% and it does stay in pose now but it's a bit too strong 😞 I have other puppets that have body strength varying between 85-95% and they all stay in pose, not sure why this is different. I might try to rig this one from scratch again

OK, whatever gets you the look you want is the correct way but I do not recommend tweaking the strength other than for blending. You can easily run into issues like you had before here https://community.adobe.com/t5/character-animator-discussions/the-limbs-don-t-bend-correctly-don-t-h...
