Built by editing an existing puppets and now I can't edit the rigging to fit the new character.

I'm encountering a problem with my puppet in Adobe Character Animator where the mesh is behaving oddly. I edited one of the Puppet from charactor animator, layer by layer replacing the existing oines by the ones of my character. After importing my PSD file, the mesh outline appears disconnected from the character, and dragging the puppet causes strange distortions. I've tried adjusting the mesh settings, deleting and reassigning handles, and checking for any overlapping layers, but the issue persists. The puppet has multiple layers that need to stay intact, and I can't find a way to regenerate the mesh or reset the rigging effectively. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!  Windows 11 latest version of CA.

I cannot find your puppet in the project file. To export a puppet, select the puppet, then right click on it and choose "Export Puppet." The result will be a file with a *.puppet extension.
