FRONT FACING CHARACTER WALK CYCLE IN MOTION LIBRARY

Is there a walk cycle in the motion library for a front view character? If not, how do you create one using Character Creater?

Yes.

All motions are in 3D under the hood. Motion Library's orientation parameter allows you to spin the 3D pose around the vertical axis. For walking motions, the orientation of 45 degrees should give you a frontal walk.

You can also try unchecking "Preferred Orientation" to undo the default rotation making 3D poses to face 3/4 left by default.

Also, set the Root Position parameter to Treadmill. Hopscotch looks pretty good with the orientation set to 45 degrees and the Walk 1 motion. I know in the past, I had good luck with a frontal walk with the Simple Example from this page: https://pages.adobe.com/character/en/motionlibrary

Here's a side by side showing the default and 45 degrees for the orientation.
