Hey Gang!
I just watched the @OkaySamurai tutorial on Motion Library [see here] and it was very helpful! I followed every step and it worked on my rig.
My problem occurs when I have multiple body angles [1. Front Body 2. Left Profile Body and 3. Right Profile Body]. Motion only applies to one rig [Front Rig] and not the other rigs [2. Left Profile or 3. Right Profile].
Below you'll see a snapshot of 1. Rigging Structure + 2. Properties Panel.
Please Note:
Each body [1. Front 2. Left and 3. Right] has a fully set up rig within them. The rigs follow the Okay Samurai Tutorial.
The problem though is that only the Front Body works. I cannot assign motions from the Motion Library to the other rigs.
i try to turn off [Make Invisible] the front rig and turn on [Make Visible] either of the other two rigs.

Thank you for that demo, @k_oshiro . It is greatly appreciated!
What I meant was- how can I apply a Profile walk onto the Right Profile Rig?
It looks like Character Animator will apply the animation to the Rig that is at the top of the hierarchy only. So the solution is to move that Profile Rig to the top. See below:Move the rig that you want to apply animation to the top of the heirarchyhe top of the stack.
Tags: I see when you have multiple heads in one folder, CH allows you to tag them [Front, 3/4, Profile, etc] so that shows CH which head to use. But is there a way to tag multiple bodies like this too? I haven't seen that there is a similar way to "tag" the different bodies- but you might know.
Workaround / Hack: In the meantime, I'll just continue to move the preferred Rig to the top of the hierarchy as needed.
Thanks again @k_oshiro . You're awesome!!

Thank you @k_oshiro and please do not apologize. I didn't explain myself clearly enough. Thanks for your help!
I included video that shows what is happening. Hopefully this explains the issue better.
SWAP SETS:
I do have Swap Sets as you'll see in the video. And Swap Sets work properly for changing the body to the desired angles as you'll see in the video. So that is not the issue.
PROBLEM: HIERARCHY
The problem is the hierarchy. If you apply animation to a rig via the Motion Library, it only gets properly applied to the top rig in the hierarchy. [RIGHT PROFILE Rig]. The Rigs that are lower int he hierarchy do not get the motion properly applied.
VIDEO EXPLANATION:
I made a video to show this. In the attached video, you'll see that the rig at the top of the hierarchy is the RIGHT PROFILE rig. The motion gets apply correctly to that rig.
But if I change to a rig that is lower in the hierarchy, like the FRONT or LEFT PROFILE, that motion doesn't get applied correctly.
Please take a look at the video and hopefully this will show the issues that I am having. If you have any questions or can suggest a soltion, please let me know.
THANK YOU @k_oshiro

I'm having the same issue. With a puppet rigged up with 3 views for a walk cycle, the motion library does not work. The left and right arrows for walking work great, but as soon as I put an ML preset in, it breaks and looks awful or doesn't work.

I do not believe the walk and Motion Library behaviors are not meant to work together. The Motion libray is more recent and (I assume) meant to replace the walk bahavior. Are you using a pre-made puppet that had already had the walk behavior?

Oooooh! Yep, I removed the walk behavior, and the motion library works much better. I guess I just like having the walk behavior on to be able to initiate manually with the left/right arrows. But now I know I can work around it. Thank you!
