Dear CH folks,
I am rigging my Charcter and have almost finished. But when I try recording it, my character movements are jittery. I tried other "complicated" characters from @oksamurai and dont have this issue.
I also noticed that the actual FPS is lower than the scene settings (I am not sure if this cause the problem tho and i dont know how to fix it, either :D).
Please watch it in this video: https://vimeo.com/901563229/ddfa53801b
You help is really appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time,
Tony
Usually this kind of thing happens if a file is too large and/or has too many behaviors and the computer can't handle it in realtime. You can test behaviors performance by turning off their red dots and see if performance improves. Physics, Body, and Head/Body Turner are three that tend to drain a lot of resources. I would also take a look at your PSD or AI file and see how big it is compared to example puppets. If there is any optimization you can do by flattening layers or simplifying things t

Thank you so much Dave. It seems to sove the issue. I have simplified my PSD and it is approaching the scene's settings (22.5 fps compared to 11 fps before). Not sure how my PSD is still... 146MB with just a bunch of layers. Will continue this process.

CH will process hidden layers as well as visible ones. Check to see if you have any large reference layers that are hidden and remove them.
