Hey people,

this is Pia from Germany. I created a puppet with Illustrator and want to make it walk with the Character Animator now. I really don't know why the legs aren't moving the way I want them to. I already checked my layers and the handles I setted but I still can't figure out what I did wrong.

I would be very thankful if anyone of you can help me to fix this!

Here you can download my project within one weekhttps://we.tl/t-Vs51AOYALM

Kind regards

Pia

Hi, thanks for your DM.

I translated Japanese into English using software.

1) Your puppet's body layer did not have a tag on the right hip.
2) You do not need to tag the layers that group the feet together.
3) Added toe tags to each foot layer.
4) Unchecked ground detection in the IK section of the limbs.

Please check.

Sorry, you'll need to include the folders along with the chproj file.

I didn't see the link, but I was able to see the puppet file and use that. It looks like @k_oshiro fixed the problem for you. Please let us know if there are any problems.
