Visemes Off CH version3.0

I just updated version 3 (Character Animator), and the "visemes marker" has me frustrated.

 

The audio is following the blue marker, but I can't align the viseme with the blue marker. I could do it 1/2 frame before or after.... Which makes the puppets' conversation seem a bit off.

 

Is there a way to adjust the viseme, so that I can align it with the marker?

 

Please advise

Hi Yusufh,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Adobe Character Animator provides an enhancement. The Preferences dialog box now has a Lip Sync panel for controlling how the lip-sync engine is used for detecting and generating visemes. Have you checked it out yet?

 I'm still researching if there is a way to link the markers with the viseme(it is a new question for me, personally). I'll update you soon.

I'm hopeful that this video will help you with the viseme detection. Let us know if it does.
