Which side is the left and right side of a puppet?

I am learning CA and am having a difficult time. I am wondering, which side is the right side and which is the left. Is the right side the actual right side of the puppet OR is it the right side that you view on screen?

Left Hand etc means the puppet's left hand, which is normally on the right when you look at the screen. This becomes especially important if the character can ever turn around in complete 360 (currently can only turn 180 degrees with left/right walk etc).
