Is there an ASCIi replacment for this? I googled for it but I cant seem to find anything consistent or specifically stating its supported in CF. An alternate solution is acceptable, but using the letter x seems a little cheesy.

keep in mind however, that different OS's and languages use different character sets.

You will not get a checkmark on a Mac or Unix/Linux system with that code, and if the user is from another country or using a different default OS language like French or Spanish etc, it will also have a different character in many cases.

The only foolproof way to relay something like that to any user, is to use a graphic.

ASCII 214 is a checkmark in the "symbol" font-family.

Ha too funny Glen. The simplest solution never entered my brain.... maybe I need to take a break from coding!
