How do I go about updating my cold fusion installtion from CF2021 to the latest version if I have purchased through AWS Marketplace?

Albert, it seems you'd be running an ec2 instance using the cf ami from Coalesce, is that right?

In that case, one approach is that you could spin up a new VM running the ami for cf2025. Consider that since you pay for use of the instance, when you stop using the CF2021 instance, you'd stop paying for that cf version. There's also a free trial of the new ami.

You should bring this to the provider of your AMI, which again should be Coalesce. There are more licensing and technical issues they can help you consider.

There are also matters that are NOT unique to running on an ami. Folks here could help with that if you have such further questions.

Or maybe someone else will chime in with different thoughts than I've offered.
