Hi,
I am trying to locate information on where Cold Fusion 11 should be installed.
Currently, CF 9 is installed on the C drive where IIS is and there are no issues.
I have replaced CF 9 with CF 11, but I have installed CF 11 on the D drive and having issues.
Should CF 11 be installed at the default location on the C drive?
Thanks,
Mike
I noticed in the web.confif file for the website the following:
I would think the wsconfig tool would change the entries.
Also below is the complete information in the web.config file:

I manually deleted the mapping.
I executed the wsconfig tool with admin rights. There were no options to only create the connector.
The tomcat_All did not appear in the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions and there were no messages in the command window.

Can you launch the wsconfig tool with admin rights, click on "Add" and take a screenshot. Share it here, we will help you to choose the correct options. Again, you need not to CHANGE anything in the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions as well.

No receiving a 500 error message;
Below is the screen print of the wsconfig:
Now there is an entery in the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions for the individual site:
tomcat_BUS

The "No receiving a 500 error message" should be "Now receiving a 500 error message"

The problem is with your IIS configuration, as per the error in command prompt. Moreover, you have two connectors - one to "BUS" and the other to "All" sites including "BUS". Thus there is redundancy. Here is what you need to do:-

I have completed Steps 1 thru 4.
Step 5 shows the same message as yesterday.
For Step 6, what should the permissions be?

It was mentioned that the problem is with the IIS configuration.
What in IIS 7 configuration is the issue?

I'm interested too, as this is quite similar to the issue I'm having in upgrading from CF9 to CF11. I'm not even being able to get to the migration/configuration part of the installation.

I am not an IIS Admin, but I can try. As of now, can you give "Everyone" full access to C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\ and try. Else, please copy paste the error from command prompt.

I suspected it to be a configuration issue. Please try the following:-

I performed all the steps.
Below is the output of the wsconfig tool:
Why is there no messages in the command window?
There is no web.config file for the website. Where is the web.config file for the website located now?
Is any other configuration files changed during the wsconfig tool?
The image is still avaliable after the refresh button.
I am going to test the site. Then I am going to have CF9 site restored and the go through the steps I have been through for the reinstallation of CF 11.
It would be nice for Adobe to create a detailed document on what steps are needed when going from CF9 to CF11.

I just checked access to the CF Admin.
I am receiving Internet Explorer cannot display the web page.
Note: The Default website has been removed from IIS.

In investigating my CF problems I found the following link www ,codecurry.com/2010/01/coldfusion-manual-configuration-issues. html (note the spaces I put in the web address). He talks about all the things that wsconfig is supposed to create and change. Can you confirm if that is being done with your installation? I'm beginning to wonder if my wsconfig is not running properly, but don't know why. If so, maybe the same has occurred with your installation.

Revert to inherited is he one I meant, sorry. Are you running the connector as administrator?
The web connector should do all the work, you shouldn't have to add anything manually. If they are not appearing after running it, there must be a permissions error.

The wsconfig is being executed As Administrator.

Remove this DLL from IIS. Then try removing and then re creating the Web Server Connector
