We bought what we thought was CF9 from sales today, but it was 10. Were setting up a new server that has been running 9 for awhile but we still need the old server in production because it has some apps that won't be migrating. So after trying the CF 10 serial in 9 we contacted customer service and got the usual that they don't sell CF9. So I'm guessing the only option is to cancel order for 10 and go to a re-seller for 9? Wow, What a royal pain.
I guess Adobe destroyed every possible serial number they had for CF 9.

I don't know who you talked to at Adobe support, but a CF10 license can be "downgraded" to CF 9.0.2. If you spoke to an Adobe sales rep, they (sadly) may not be aware of that. Contact Adobe support again to get a CF9 serial number.

Thanks will give it a try. Talked to sales and costumer service. Thought it might be just a question of getting to the right person.
