CF9 VS CF9.0.1

When I view my system information in my ColdFusion Administrator interface, it shows the version as:

9,0,0,251028

Does this indicate that I have version 9.0, or version 9.0.1?  I need to know in order to apply the proper hot fixes.

Thank you!

Yes, remove the hot fix, install the updater.  Depends on which system you run, but you want: "ColdFusion 9 Update 1 (9.0.1)".

After that you should install all the cumulative hotfixes and any subsequent hotfixes.   You could also, again if you are not using Verity, just install the 9.0.2 update.  More info here: http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/coldfusion-9-0-2-is-now-publicly-available

You have 9.0.  You should install the 9.0.1 updater then apply the hotfixes.  Or, if you are not using Verity, you can install the 9.0.2 updater that was recently released.

    Sean,

The main reason I ask this is because I've installed the APSB12-06 security hotfix (http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-security-hotfix.html#main-pars_heading_9) and since then, we been having major problems with Internet Explorer users losing their sessions in our applications.  Very frustrating, and I'm not enitrely sure what to do.  I did follow the correct set of installation instructions for the right version of ColdFusion, with the correct previously-installed hotfixes.

When you say I should "install the 9.0.1 updater," which update is that exactly?  I'm referring to the following page for ColdFusion 9 updates:

    http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads_updates.html#cf9

Should I first roll back the APSB12-06 update, and then install the 9.0.1 updater?  Does this updater upgrade my ColdFusion Enterprise from 9.0 to 9.0.1?  Since instlaling the APSB12-06 security hotfix, I'm skeptical of Adobe updates, as they have the potential to mysteriously break applications that before were working just fine for over 10 years.

Thank you very much for your help.
