ColdFusion Developer to Server License

One of our clients out of town will be visited next week as they have purchased a ColdFusion 8 server license.

Do we have to install the server as a replacement to the developer software or can we just enter their new license.

The client does not want to loose their configuration.

Thanks

You just need to update the license in ther server admin settings.

    Thank you for your note.

I cannot see a way of installing the Server Licence to the developer version currently installed.

I will uninstall the developer software and than install the server software next week, unless you could point me to a way of changing the developer software version to the server version.

    Thanks

You first need to open the CF Administrator, then on the top right you'll

see three icons, one says resources, the other one system information and

the third one is the help. If you click over the system information icon

you'll be able to update your server's license.
