Error message on query

Explorer ,
Nov 29, 2006 Nov 29, 2006
Hi, can some one tell me what this error is trying to tell me:
Error Executing Database Query.
No value specified for parameter 12

Its happening when the data is passed to the action page to be inserted into the db. I know I may not have provided enough info, but possibly the error will. If I need to post more its not a problem. TIA

turn on debugging, and post the sql that your code produces. Also specify the db type (oracle, mysql, whatever)

You are learning how much "fun" using cfinsert can be. Do yourself a BIG favor..... use cfquery and write your own SQL insert statements instead. Forget about using cfinsert and cfupdate tags, as they look like they save you time, but end up causing you nothing but headaches.

My 2 cents....

I usually do write my own, that was the first and probably the last.
