Installation of CF8 in solaris zone

Adobe Employee ,

Hi,

CF8 can run on a server with 2 processors.

I would like to install CF8 on a Solaris Zone (virtual server) and assign
2 processors to it.  Since the physical server that this virtual server resides on has more than two processors will I experience

any coldfusion software issues?  Will I still be in compliance with the licensing?

Please help me out with the same.

Thanks

Hello,

For your scenario, as long as CF is installed in the zone itself and not the global zone, you should be all set.

You must limit that particular zone to two processors (like you say) to ensure you keep within the EULA.

Thanks -- David
