Installing multiple versions of ColdFusion on server

Hi,
I have a server running CF2018 and we have just purchased the CF2021 (both enterprise versions). In previous versions of CF I could install two different version on the same server. I think this is still possible but has anyone got any advice/guidance on the best way to do it?
The CF2018 has production initativies running on it. My plan was to install CF2021, configure, secure, migrate and then eventually unintall CF2018 once happy all is running well.
Thanks
Peter

I have done this to migrate, it works fine.
We are windows based, so we installed 2021, exported config from 2018 and moved to 2021, then when we were ready to migrate, removed the connector to IIS from 2018 and ran the 2021 connector, this then routes it through 2021.
Stop the 2018 services and leave it for a few days / weeks etc. Then uninstall.

Hi Peter,
Yes, you can run both the version on the same server and you can also run then parallel. However, you cannot run same website with both the version as you can only create a connector with one version. If you create a connector with both of them, it will override the connector. So to run the website with specific version of CF, you have to create individual connector with CF for that site.
In case, you have a CF already installed on this server, please ensure you remove the connector first from older version using wsconfig utility and then create the connector with websites and different CF version.
I hope this clarifies any doubt you may have.
