Dear All,

I am trying to find a feasible solution so that I can receive sms/mms on my linux pc in my email client. While digging this I came across an approach wherein I can receive sms on my pc from some an xmpp enabled sms/mms gateway. On my client pc after receiving sms, I will convert it to email format so that it can be displayed as email within my email client.

Now for the **development purpose** I am trying to locate a xmpp enabled sms/mms gateway which can fake smsc. Can anyone suggest me if i can use cold fusion as a gateway for my development purpose ? while reading some manual i came to know that it can fake smsc also.

Also can anyone suggest me some other approach if possible ?

I shall be thankful if someone can suggets me some workable solution for the above said problem.

Thanks and Regards,

Puneet

ps: Yesterday i posted this msg in general discussion forum but it has not come there. So posting here

Coldfusion can indeed simulate SMSC, and more besides. However, you'll need the Enterprise Edition of Coldfusion MX 7.x. You will find more information, including code examples in the manual on Coldfusion's SMS Event Gateway
