Synchronize CF Server Time and Windows VPS Time

Hello all. I am using a VPS company and the time that shows on the server when I Remote in (Windows 2008) is different than the time showing in the CF logs. I run scheduled tasks that need to be close if not identical to the time on the server and its just not happening.

Does anyone know how to synchronize the CF Server to the same time as the Windows Server?

I don;t know how to "fix" it but I think I can point you in the right direction, the time in CF is driven from the JAVA engine.

I had a similar problem at a elints site, and he had to adjust the JAVA time zone, to match the SERVER time zone.

How it was done I'm not sure, since the clinet adjusted it him self.

But look into that, you can output the timezone on the CF (there for the java one) by using the gettimezoneinfo function :
