Syncing SWF with Presenter in Connect not working

I embedded an swf file into a PPT using Presenter and published it to Adobe Connect.  However, the swf actions do not sync to the attendees, even though sync is enabled.

Any suggestions?

Since SWF files can be interactive or non-interactive, and Presenter can't tell the difference, you need to give Presenter some guidance as to how to deal with your SWF file.

There is a good walkthrough on the process for both types of SWF files here: http://youtu.be/iHSsNd-ZXCY

I watched the video, and enabled the control through the playback bar.  However, it still does not sync to the rest of the group.  My swf is a drag-and-drop activity and only contains 1 frame.  Could that be part of the problem?

It may be part of the problem. But having an interactive SWF that is controlled by the play bar will mean that your SWF file is paused when the presentation is paused. So, you will want to have that option unchecked/disabled when dealing with interactive SWF files.

The other thing to consider is that if you have the presentation in sync mode, you are controlling the progression through the presentation (SWFs included) for everyone. So, you would ultimately need to un-sync to have everyone be able to interact in with your SWF on their own.

Have you tried loading the SWF into the Share pod directly? It probably won't have the option to Sync, unless you used the Collaboration Builder SDK (not needed if just embedding in Presenter), but it may allow better interaction by the group.

That's actually what I want.  I want the interactions to be controlled by the Presenter and have the attendees see those interactions (not control the interactions themselves).

I did try uploading the swf into the Share Pod directly previously before I used Presenter, but that still has my original issue of the interactions not syncing to the attendees.  I was hoping I would not have to go the route of using the Collaboration Builder SDK since I had Presenter.

it seems like the SDK may be the way to go, but having not built that much to have a sync'd display of an interactive SWF in Presenter, I can't say that with 100% certainty.

Someone else here my have more experience getting your desired workflow, and could chime in.
