Admin password required

I can't install any apps because it asks me for this "admin password", but it doesn't redirect me to any prompt to enter my password, I press continue and it says "Retry". I tried running CC as administrator and it still does not work. My user account is administrator. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I used the adobe cleaner tool. Nothing works. (im on Windows btw)

that's not an adobe prompt. it's from your os.

wdym its not an adobe prompt if it literally pops up in creative cloud?

there's no adobe password needed to install or open the cc desktop app.

 

if you need to sign in to (or out of) your cc desktop app to access your account, here's how, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

Who said anything about signing in or out of my CC desktop app, that window pops up when I try to install an app from the creative cloud.

again, that's expected when os password is needed.  google your most recent os update.

Hi @dkt0 , I assume you're not seeing a Windows prompt to enter your local user password when you see the prompt?

I already fixed the issue. Turns out the Adobe Cleaner Tool wasn't enough so I had to delete sone extra stuff manually and then reinstall.

I think it missed an Adobe folder in C:\ProgramData and then some Adobe folders in AppData.

 

Probably the one from ProgramData was the issue tho.
