CC stuck in an uninstall loop when trying to uninstall Bridge

New Here ,

Hi. I'm trying to uninstall Adobe Bridge as I don't use it. Ever since I started the uninstall, CC has been stuck in this endless loop where it will randomly open when I'm using LR or PS and ask me if I want to keep or remove notifications, alerts, etc related to Bridge. No matter which option I select, this dialog keeps opening again and again at random times. Can anyone tell me how to get this to stop, please? I'm using a PC running Windows 10.

Thank you. I think I found the solution to my problem. Even tho I don't have Bridge installed anymore there was a stuck active option in CC app > preferences > apps > automatic updates > bridge, that for some reason remained enabled even after uninstalling the app and it kept triggering the pop-up everytime it was trying to look for new updates I believe.

I have the same issue, I deleted everything related to Bridge, even the registry, but that stuff is still poping-up. So annoying! I'm not even uninstalling it anymore.

if you want to properly remove everything adobe from your computer:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

Thanks but I do not want to do that. I just want CC app to stop launching every 30 minutes to ask me if I want to keep or delete preferences for Bridge when there is no Bridge installed on my computer anymore because I uninstalled it through the CC app.

oh, i didn't know you could do that, but now that i check, it doesn't appear to be loaded on my computer either.  adobe must have stopped that auto-install with apps like ps and i failed to realize it.

anyway, try resetting your cc app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
