The Creativ Cloaud Desktop App causes high CPU load, while no CC App is running.
What I did so far as suggested on the support page:
- logged of from my account within the CC Desktop app
- uninstalled all Adobe CC software
- uninstalled the Creativ Cloud Desktop App
- download the latest CC Desktop App
- reinstalled it and all other CC Software I usually need
Still constant CPU load between 20 and 30%
Any solution?
Regards, Otto

pause file syncing. does that decrease cpu load?

Thx, that seems to work.
But IMHO still a bug that needs to be solved. No other cloud service I use, causes such a CPU load.

that's just a debugging step, not intended to be a fix/work-around.
you can conclude you have a problematic file that's not syncing. to fix, move all the sync folder files out of the sync folder and unpause syncing.
is everything still ok? if yes, add ~1/2 the files back to the sync folder. if everything's ok, add ~1/2 the remaining files etc.
if you hit a problem, the problematic file is the most recently added group. divide that in ~1/2 and pinpoint the problematic file.
now, if you have more than one problematic file, you'll need to be more creative to efficiently track the culprits.

And that's exactly the problem, there are zero files to sync. Only in the library are 4 items. I have now removed them all to check.

ok, so there are no files in your local cc sync folder, correct?
if so, make sure there are none in your sync folder (and deleted folder) at https://assets.adobe.com

Everything, Files, Libraries, Shared with me, Recycle Bin, is empty, nothing left. Maybe it was one of the 4 items (colour palettes) in the Library. We'll see.

OK, CCD is still trying to sync like hell for minutes, althougfh there is nothing to sync. What makes me wondering are the 523 MB. I could nowhere find anything, not in the local sync folder nor on Creative Cloud Web. Is this some tech overhead?

your screenshot is reporting 500+mb of cc files. check all your files stored on adobe's servers:
use a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders to check.:
https://documentcloud.adobe.com
if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder.

Sorry, for late answer. Found the 500+MB: documents in the Document Cloud. But they are not being synced anywhere, they are just stored in the cloud, nowhere else. But OK, as I have disabled Sync, the problem has temporary been solved.

they must have been trying to sync somewhere.
