Help. I updated my applications and now nothing is working. Illustator, Photoshop, Indesign, everything is refusing to open. I've consulted and tried multiple troubleshooting suggestions and nothing is working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps and logging out of my creative cloud account and then logging back in. This is what pops up when I open any of the apps:

We can’t verify your subscription status.

We can’t reach the Adobe servers. This may be because you’re not connected to the internet. (I AM) Check your connection and try again below. If you’re still having issues, please see our connectivity troubleshooting guide. (Tried them all and nothing worked.) Error code: 20400.

When I push 'Try Again' this is what comes up every time:

You will not be able to use Illustrator at this time. Please contact Customer Support and use the reference code 109 for more information on how to resolve this issue.

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>

if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.
