This incredibly unacceptable and that Adobe has yet to fully cure their software from this problem in 7 years! As of the writing of this reply, it is December 19, 2024 and my experience with this very problem has occurred multiple times over the past few weeks. It is annoying as hell, and for the monthly subscription fee, that keeps going up, it is unacceptable for subscribers to tolerate such poor software development qualifty. Now for the answer to be uninstall every Adobe Creative Cloud app and reinstall begs the question, is this 1984??? Lazy software development is readily apparent to almost any modern day user. Clearly, today's technology is more than capable of providing the software developers with the tools to develop repair software apps that do the complete job and not place the onus on paying customers. My patience has limits and the Adobe team better prioritize these issues fast. Because the longer they delay, the more cause they give customers to terminate subscriptions and engage with compwtitiors.

the problem is on your end. ie, something on your computer (eg, av) is damaging some adobe files.

There in lies the problem... no other application is having issues of any sort. I have not installed anything new nor removed anything old. So without any disganostic feedback I reject the assertion that the issue is "my end". One thing I have noticed though is the problem occurs whtn Adobe releases updates to the Adobe apps I use, Premeire Plus, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, Media Encoder, & Camera Raw. Today, there was an update to Photoshop.

The_Park_Lark, the discussion you responded to was from 2017 and the Creative Cloud Desktop app has been updated several times since then.

Thank you Jeffrey Wright for the guidenace and yes I realized this thread was many years old, but your help provided me information I had hoped to uncover from my post.
I in the midst of following the process for cleaning CC desktop app. But at the same time of seeking assistance for the CC desktop app I find that Premiere Pro is not functioning as was a couple of weeks ago. So I will need to tap the Premiere Pro community for assistance. Ugh!

Hace semanas no puedo usar mis herramientas de trabajo de mi plan mensual que pago con tanto sacrificio. Creative Cloud no se inicia de ninguna forma y ahora se han desactivado todas mis apps por este motivo. Ninguna de las "soluciones" de Adobe me dieron resultado.
