my ereader doesn't appear in ADE

Hello, 

I have a Sony ereader type prs-t2. I have bought books online with my laptop (macbook) but for some reason i cant put them on my ereader. Sony advised to download ADE and I did. I can put my books on ADE but it doesnt see/find my ereader. 

Can someone help me out here?
