I have a user who purchased a paper from a vendor and was provided an acsm file. We went and added new rules to the firewall allowing the file to reach out to the specified urls to verify ownership or whatever with the copyright. Now that we have done this we have run into the problem of actually opening the contents. it seems like the paper should be six pages long, but what actually displays is the cover page 6 times. is this some sort of problem with the file or something with the digital editions 4.5 displaying incorrectly? We have also reached out to vendor and awaiting reply but I want to post here to see if someone else has encountered this issue before.
we are using adobe digital editions on windows 11.
