Complex and irregular shapes

How do I create complex and irregular shapes on Adobe Dimension? Or is there a way to just add an image and start designing on that? Thank you to anyone who replies.

What kind of shape is it?. You can create it by combining modular assets from assets panel or import it them in Dn? Can you share any example of that shapes?

It looked a bit like this, I wanted to create something similar to this but I think I figured it out now, I just picked the Crystal shape from the shapes options and edited onto it. But thank you for the advice!
