That correct. For changing that roughness open roughness map (image) in Ps by clicking on icon than "edit" and change that map properties. Save it. you can see changes in Dn

Roughness gets grayed out when you use a number instead i.e, an image gives you it... so if you didn't include one there is nothing to scale

When there is no image I can change it, as soon as I add and image, it grays out.

sorry yes my mind works back to front ... adding a map = follow the map

no map = a sliding scale

metal drivers = roughness maps are back to front vs Nvidia so dark is light when converting
