Everytime I launch Adobe DImension, even after uninstalling and reinstalling different versions, the program just boots to a white screen. I can click on things, but nothing appears.
I'm on Windows 10.

I enabled Optimus but Dimension is still a white screen for me. Any other idea how to fix this?
I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and things started failing after the last Windows 10 update. I also get a white screen when I open Firefox!
Thank you in advance!

Check for the Ti based cards... ...You may need to update the driver or reinstall it to have it install the optimus DLL files. I updated my drivers to the latest and redid the fix in global mode.
IF global still doesn't work, create a new profile from that template (there is a small button to click). Then set optimus, save the profile, then go up to the icon that says add application. Pick the executable file for Dimension and save the profile again.
Here is an important step. You may need to restart your computer. There is also a graphics tester in your Dimension folder that will allow you to probe your graphics setup, and it will write a config file for Dimension. Another way to fix that is to uninstall and reinstall Dimension. On the first run, it will run the probe and set the configs.

Thank you so much for the help! I did everything you advised but I still saw no difference.
We read somewhere else that Duet Display (an app to use the iPad as a display) might be the problem, and as soon as I uninstalled it everything worked again! I just thought I should give an update in case it helps someone else.
Thank you again!

DUET DISPLAY? IF you are on a mac, the problem is definitely DUET DISPLAY, as it hijacks your video frames from your processors. This can create a problem because of the way the processing works for discreet cards. Card handles render of the data, CPU handles the screen. If DUET DISPLAY is running, you have a third junction in there. Your card is sending graphics, but cannot tell which screen to use. In any instance of accelerated graphics, you really should use an actual screen, rather than an app that turns something else into a screen.
If you have DUET DISPLAY running on a PC, remember that iPad is MAC and the two were never meant to play together. If you really want a second screen, get a second screen.
On windows, same thing. My advice is for WINDOWS 10 users primarily.

My problem was in a Windows 10 PC, Duet wasn't even running when I had issues. I have 2 monitors, I used DUET because I wanted to use my iPad as a drawing tablet. It is a shame that DUET fails so miserably because there is nothing else out there that let's you do that on a PC.

yes mate and now you understand why that is
thanks for the report as someone else [with Duet] can now see why their system boots blank as well

Here is A possible fix for duet, if you have an nvidia Card; you need to set up a profile for duet in the inspector, enable Optimus and save the profile As Duet, then attach the duet app to the profile with The add application button (there should be some dull or exe file in the duet folder, but it may be locked, so you might need to start up in safe mode as admin, then do this). If that doesn’t help, reinstall dimension and try again, add a restart. Then reinstall duet. If neither work, turn off Optimus for duet and reinstall the two apps, then restart the computer. It may be that duet gets data from main processor or takes over from whichever is actually in charge, which is confusing it. Forcing the app to draw from nvidia first may fix that.
