when selection an object and 'export uv' is clicked adobe dimension creates a folder, but no psd-files. the folder is empty. ––– any solution?¿

Then your Mac is blocking assess to the folder... Try using a mates computer

nope… I'm able to save the dn-file to the folder too. tried a different computer. same problem.

I selected one of the 'defaults' models placed in the scene.

object > export uvs

in the follwoing dialog I choose a size and the location to be saved.

dimension dialog 'exporting'

if the objects contain multiple elements a folder is created, but the folder is empty.

Right that is are the steps that I do also. 

IMHO there can be two problems.

1. You PC don't shows psd files (you can check size of folder) 

2  Dn is corrupted (try to reinstall Dn)

thank you very much for your patience ares. ––––– unistalled and installed dimension from scratch. same problem… creates folder but nothing inside, folder size 0kb, ingo

I'm using the latest version. I even uninstalled and redownloaded it today, but still the same problem. I don't even get the folder now, and I tried to find an answer on Google but you seem to be the only one mentioning this problem.

I hope we'll find a solution!

I've skipped the problem. –––– tried a lot… new installation, different os, different computer. because on both systems the folder was created but no files exported, I assumed it's a problem with the id/adobe-cloud-settings.

I found a workaround! Not sure if it will work for everyone who has this same issue.

1. "Generate UVs" in Dimension, but don't export UVs. 
2. Instead, use "file" > "export" > "selected models", export OBJ
3. In a photoshop doc, "3D" > "new 3D layer from file" > open your exported OBJ (which now includes Dimension-generated UVs)
4. In the layers panel, double click into the Base Color layer (in my attached example labeled "Glass - Default Texture"
5. In the properties panel of the PSB that opens, check "UV overlays" (now you'll see if it worked)
6.  "3D" > "create painting overlay" > "wireframe"
7. Now you have a layer which includes the UV map. You can then export this as a JPEG and use it for matching your art/graphics to the object

I suddenly have this same problem. I have been performing the task repeatedly all day. 

I opened a new model and I now cant exports PSD UV maps. 

I haven't restarted, haven't reinstalled, the program hasn't been closed, no other updates have taken place to my knowledge. 

I have tried opening a fresh scene, adding a cube, baking it in, generating UV's and exporting. but nothing. Empty folder.
