Stuck in Loading or Saving loop

I have a project with 7 objects (5 cars, a motorcycle and a diner) moving and manipulating everything is no problem, but when i try to add a texture (from the defalt options) the loading screen comes up, and sometimes never stops (just a loading bar without using any processing power)

Any way to cancel the action? or to clear the window?

it sounds like you are out of Ram

• does the default options open when you have Dimension on just a blank project page i.e, is this only happens with this big project open?

yes = Ram or corupt textures i.e, Bmp or perhaps a Tiff was used... if its Ram then sharing the Dn to a better system will fix your problem but Bmp means the file is toast

It is a brand new computer with 16gb ram, the issue happens on any system i
try, not just with that specific texture... could be the model itself? How
do i remove texture (or surface properties) from an object?

a tiff or other old texture can just be removed from any model however Bmp textures corupt the Dn when ever you try to save it... if that happened then bin the file and start again is your only option

can you zip \ share this Dn for testing?
